The vision of the Soroptimist organization is to help provide to women and girls resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams. One of the ways that the Soroptimist International of Rancho Cordova & Gold River club achieves this by offering to domestic violence survivors receiving assistance from the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center (SFJC) (https://www.sacramentofjc.org/), goal setting and career planning workshop.

We offered a workshop in April, May and June 2026 teaching long-term, short-term, and career planning skills and asked participants to complete a pre- and post-workshop survey about their outlook about each topic.
