There are five Soroptimist Federations under the umbrella of Soroptimist International: Soroptimist International Africa Federation, Soroptimist International of the Americas, Soroptimist International of Europe, Soroptimist International of Great Britain & Ireland and Soroptimist International of the Southwest Pacific.

Soroptimist International of the Americas, which our club belongs to, encompasses clubs in North and South America, Japan, North & South Korea, and the Philippines.

Soroptimist International Sierra Nevada Region encompasses clubs in the counties of Alpine, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Inyo, Lassen, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo, Yuba in California, and the entire State of Nevada.
