Year-Round Ongoing Fundraisers

TRU EARTH FUNDRAISER

Soroptimist is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) member of the United Nations. As a NGO, we support the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our club’s ongoing fundraisers support SDG13 and SDG15.

Tru Earth is new environmentally-friendly ongoing fundraiser is joining our ewaste and printer ink cartridge recycling fundraisers! See our flier: Support our FundraiserPortrait

Tru Earth sells cleaning products that take the form of a “sheet” that can be thrown into your washing machine to use its water to become hypo-allergenic/phosphate-free/paraben-free laundry soap, or fabric softener, or to throw into your toilet bowl to use that water to become bowl cleaner, or tablets that use your dishwasher’s water, compostable sponges, etc. 20% of your order cost is donated to our club, and 100% of the environment is helped. Shop here: http://tru-earth.sjv.io/SIRCGR

We will earn 20% only the first purchase of an Auto-Save subscription, but not subsequent auto-deliveries. A way you can save the Subscribe & Save 27% discount and our club can still earn 20% on all purchases, is to check the Subscribe & Save box when you order and pay, then cancel Subscribe & Save after your order is placed.

Then when you’re ready to make your next purchase, repeat the process I described above.

They are based in Stockton but will pick up from anyone in the Central Valley, Napa Valley, throughout the Greater Sacramento-area as far as Roseville/Rocklin and El Dorado Hills. So if you know people in any of these areas, please share this with them!

They take: All Televisions, Video Games & Consoles, Computer Monitors, Computers, Fax Machines, Calculators, Desktop Copiers, Cell Phones, Telephones, Printers, Vacuum Cleaners, Speakers, Keyboards, Scanners, Mice, Laptops, Networking Equipment, Power Tools, Misc Wires and Cords, Small Appliances, Household Phones, Stereo Systems, Medical Equipment, and much more! Schedule a pickup by clicking here: http://www.ewaste4good.com/Home.html#Anchor_1
Then in the Select County of Organization, select “Sacramento S” then look for “Soroptimist International of Rancho Cordova & Gold River.” If our club’s name doesn’t appear in the drop down list, then type our club’s name “Soroptimist International of Rancho Cordova & Gold River” in the next field under the drop down list.

If you don’t have enough e-waste for Tri-Valley to come to your home and pick up your e-waste, please email siranchocordova@soroptimist.net to arrange for drop off with the club, so your smaller donation can be pooled with other smaller donations to make a large enough donation for pickup.

NOTE: There are other Soroptimist club’s signed up for this fundraiser. Make sure our club is selected or typed in!

They will wipe hard drives-TWICE, just to be certain.
