Operation Holiday Stocking was started by member Stacy, who is an Air Force veteran, in 2023. In 2023, we stuffed 104 stockings with useful therapeutic items and items of comfort. In 2024, we stuffed 120 stockings and in 2025, we stuffed 150.

We met a veteran who received a stocking while she was dropping off e-waste for our fundraiser. She said she was severely depressed for a number of valid reasons but was considering suicide. When she received our stocking, she felt loved, appreciated and no longer alone, so she decided to get help instead.

This project is very important to all of us for that reason among many!
